Compatibility with IE 2 Years ago Karma: 0
Hi, I'm trying to migrate from hwdvideoshare to jvideodirect.
I tested everything with firefox and IE8 and no problem were found until I opened my site with IE7.
Default player (not JW) doesn't start!

is jvideo compatible with ie 7 or there's something wrong with me.

Thanks for your support!

So isn't any way to fix this problem?

and another question: all videos on hd mode requires to load the whole video to play! it's not a big trouble but when i try to view long and heavy videos i have to wait one day to watch the video! where is the problem!

I hope there is a way to fix this issue, IE7 is still a majority of web users ... have you viewed the demo for jVD in IE7 yet to verify this is an issue for the component and not just your site it a conflict?

That's mostly a curiosity, moderators around or staff should have an idea of whats going on, I'm just another user ... but I'm opinionated about hating IE o.O

the default player vCastr is no a sophisticated player, it will be fade out very soon.
With HD video you need to process it with qt-faststart or mp4box. I don't think you are using fetch&upload mode, right?

And i hate ie too

I changed player to JW and compatibility problem seems to be solved with IE7.

you know, every web-designer or developer hates IE but something that makes me cry is that analytics say most of my site viewers are using IE 6 and 7!

unfortunately my web-server is windows server 2003 and these converters are mostly designed for Linux. I downloaded windows binaries for ffmpeg and flvtool but I didn't noticed to MP4Box or qt-faststart!

is there any windows binaries available for them?
