Hi guys, Im having a rough time setting this comp up. Does anyone have this working?... I cant even figure out how to add videos or at east point to my existing videos on my server?.


Any help would really be appreciated!

It doesn't point to your existing video, you need to migrate to it.

To add video, in current version you may do it via admin batch upload or create a menu item with upload layout.

Tried that in the batch upload section... It wouldn't accept my file path.

the path has to be in the public folder...

Public folder?

Are you saying that in order to use local videos that I have to go outside the JVD component and make adjustments to or create an .ini file? or something?

Im a little lost... I thought any adjustments would be within the component itself?

If you want to upload from admin, goto config > import.

You need to pre-upload your files in public-folder (any directory after your joomla site)...

you will need ffmpeg and mencoder to prepare videos.
