I am attempting to install JvideoDirect on my shared hosting installation of Jooml 1.5.14 and receiving the error:

"There was an error uploading this file to the server."

Very unhelpful message

I know that JvideoDirect requires conversions scripts that are not available on my shared host, but all the videos I'd like to use are hosted with a 3rd party (YouTube) and my understanding is that JvideoDirect supports this.

Any suggestions? I'd really like to give this a test drive.

Actually the problem is that I am unable to get JVideoDirect installed on my Joomla installation as I get the error during the installation process.

What error message do you get ?

Since jvideodirect is a big package, you may need to upload to server , unpackage and install from directory
