My fetch button has ceased to work ? ie: nothing happens when you press it !

Have tried this below - and it has not worked !

"chmod 777 /PATH/TO/ROOT/jMediaDirect" and all sub-directory
"chmod 777 /PATH/TO/ROOT/components/com_jvideodirect/buffer" and all sub-directory
"chmod 777 /PATH/TO/ROOT/administrator/components/com_jvideodirect/init.jvideodirect.php"
"chmod 777 /PATH/TO/ROOT/administrator/components/com_jvideodirect/initadm.jvideodirect.php"

Obviously it is in conflict with something - I have not added any modules to the page, and the only component I have added is RSEvents + RSFirewall - both of which I un-installed - but has not fixed the problem.

Any ideas ?

you mean nothing happen when press fetch button ?

that fetch will trigger, jQuery thickbox, we have loaded jQuery.conflict().
that mean it will not conflict with Joomla mootools.
however, you are running any jquery without preparation of jquery.conflict().
it will be a conflict.

Solution:
examine you site with "view source" in browser for any jquery script call and open up the problem jquery script and replace all $ to jQuery

just a little confused as to what the solution is ?

you said to go into the module/component and change "$" to "jQuery" ?

O.K. - just did a Dreamweaver find and replace from $ to jQuery - and it seems to have worked !
