Fetch YouTube HD format 2 Years, 1 Month ago Karma: 0
Everytime I try and download a video that is in HD, I only get the SD version of it. Is there something different that I need to do to get the HD version of the video? I don't see any configuration settings for the YouTube fetch plugin. Thanks.

fetch HD video from other platform is not implemented yet,
however, if your server equipped with converter, you can set "fetch type" to "download to server". The highest quality available will be grabbed.

I have it set to download to server, the lowest quality is what is grabbed from YouTube. It works ok with Vimeo - it always pulls the highest quality file.

the lowest quality will be grabbed if the video itself doesn't have any higher quality video...

can you give any example here? i can try it out.

It's not downloading that version on my server. Are you using the base RC3a version of the software or is it a newer version? I am assuming the lose in quality on the demo site is related to your settings on your server - is that right?
