Hello,

I have some problems to use your component, and before I buy I need to find out if it going to work for us or not.

The first thing is "Background process". When i press "Process" button at "System Check Up" it dose two steps and then stops, no errors, nothing, but it doesn't pass to background process. Here you can see the snapshot

The second problem I got is uploading files on server. I use "Import Data" and CSV file but once again - no errors but no videos upload too. Here my CSV file.

Also, I host my site on Hostgator, and if this thing will work I think to move to VPS service to have possibility that registered users can upload their videos, so, as far as I understood the Virtual Private Server is good enough for this task, isn't ?

Thanks,

for you first problem, yes, we know that.
If you are using "fetch embed only" mode as your "add video mechanism", please ignore test 3. That is the label we need to hide away.

regarding the csv file ... I found that the path to video folder is incorrect.
It should NOT be a url started with http.
It should be absolute path to your video folder
e.g.
/home/domain/html/ for linux
c:\home\whatever for windows

they are example only, they are not the correct path for your host.

if this is a correct path, then enter
/home/iloveroses.com/public_html/new/tmp/video/ (need to double check if trailing slash is required, should be stated in the instruction of csv file.)

and enter newsletter-issue3-video01.flv to video file entry

Hi,

corrected my mistake, but once again nothing happens. This is link to video.

This is on FTP /public_html/new/tmp/video/newsletter-issue3-video01.flv

So, not sure what is wrong? Is there any other way to upload videos?

Thanks,

filename: newsletter-issue3-video01.flv

path should be
/ABSOLUTE/PATH/public_html/new/tmp/video

The part in Red, you may need to consult your host, typically, you can find it in your cpanel

hi, got answer from hostgator's tech support - Andrew Ho: Yes, /home/adminilr/public_html/new/tmp/video is the correct path. What sort of error are you getting when you attempt to run the script?

but, unfortunately, there's nothing happens if i use /home/adminilr/public_html/new/tmp/video nor /home/adminilr/public_html/new/tmp/video/ .. no erros but no video upload ... is there any other way to upload videos?
