Some more questions....I purchased the subscription, but still there are logos and brands from Jvideo....can I remove this?
Second, always when playing Videos, there is the JWplayer icon in the right corner....can this also be removed?
best,
kris

Once I upload some avi files, there is no preview thumbnail generated when uploading.
I am confused.
If you have converter installed and upload an avi file.
There is no thumbnail preview during upload.
It will only generate a thumbnail image after it is uploaded.
If it doesn't, please goto backend -> "checkup" and backend -> "tester"
and make sure all test are passed
logo and brand
Logo - there is a "comment" section next to the parameter of display logo.(configuration -> Display - Play -> player option -> general) Instruction to replace logo is there.
Brand - configuration -> management
jwplayer logo - you need to install commercial version of jwplayer to get rid of the logo

Configuration file (init.jvideodirect.php) is NOT writable.
Please make it writable
Error: Please make sure Mplayer is installed or correct path is entered.
Otherwise, check your HD video conversion log. HD file is invalid or does not exists.
First use "tester" with "SD only" (at configuration -> converter)
If success, switch to "HD only".
In your case, SD should be fine, but not in HD.
You need to install your converter properly especially libx264
