Hi There

I would like to let unregistered users fetch and embed videos (I would approve them once a day from the back end).

Is this possible?

You can do that but you need to hack some code.

to allow public embed it's simple.
but to allow public fetch, you need to assign a userid to be the owner of those video fetched.

Which user you like to be the owner?

Hi, I am not clear on the differences between embed and fetch. So I assume that embed means uploading video from their computers and fetch means getting videos from other platforms such as Youtube to show show up in the local site.

My question is: How do I let unregistered user fetch Youtube video into the my site? I can set up a guest userid for this purpose.

fetch embed mode - fetch video from 3rd party platform like youtube and stream video from their server.
