There is no preset templates in jvd.
But we have default and dark theme to get you start with.
configuration -> display - general -> theme

joomla default templates are rhuk_milkyway, beez and etc...
of course you can purchase your own from theme makers like yootheme, rockettheme ...
once you have chosen a template, you need to adapt jvd into it by using themes.
or you can create you own by
just duplicating the directory dark_tmpl or default under /components/com_jvideodirect/themes
rename it to something else.
Then goto configuration -> display-general -> and select the new theme.
all resources are in there.

Hi again
Maybe my bad english is confusing your direct and good answers.
I made a copy of dark_tmpl and renamed the new one. Change it in the configuration -> display-general. I had main insted of general but i think is what we looking for. But no video sign shows up after my adjustment. it feels like i have to find that start button to make it show up. I tried to activate the jvideo modul under moduls after that it displays error codes when i try to visit the frontpage.
a bit confusing why it doesent intergrate with the joomla template?

i don't really understand what you are trying to achieve.
jvideodirect's layouts are so simple and raw.
They can be adapted to any template.
check out our demo site, checkout sites posted in the "show off" section
