TOPIC: Problem with PHP ini
#2030
Problem with PHP ini 2 Years ago Karma: 0
Hello,
I have installed the component and ran the check up which comes back saying that
allow_url_fopen is set to OFF.

However, I have added a PHP.ini file to set this function to on but the component does not recognize this. I have also phoned the hosting company and they have confirmed that the PHP.ini file is correct and it should work.

Have you had this problem before and what could be the solution? Also, in which subdirectory should the php.ini be.

Any help is appreciated.

Update

I have now subsribed to your Pro Plan and hope we can get the component to work.

I have just checked with my provider. The function allow_url_fopen is for sure set to on but the jvideo component still fails the check up and insists that it is off.

How can I get this to work?
