Hi,

I am facing a unconfortable problem. I am installing the Latest core file com_jvideodirect.1.1.RC3a.zip, everything seems to work fine:

xtracting frontend package ...
Success
extracting backend package ...
Success
creating storage directory structure ...
Success
setting up mysql database ...
Success
building menu items...
Success
create initial config file...
Success

summarizing: Everything is sucessfuly installed!

However, when I launch the System Check Up, it takes more than 80% of processor activity, and my host blocks me in order to avoid a server collapse. This information comes from WebHostingPad technical support (www.webhostingpad.com/), after, more or less, 5 minutes frozen.

Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks in advance for your support.

best,

Wandel

You must have switched to "fetch & upload" mode before processing checkup tool
As recommended in the installer note, you should start with "fetch embed mode" (default) and passed checkup tools before anything else.

It will detect rather or not you are using php-cgi to prevent this problem. In your case you are, please read wiki installation guide.

Hi,

It collapse as your path to PHP is wrong.

Same problem I had until i got the right path, so try:

If SSH is available, you may use the following command to locate it on linux.

#which php

Typically it returns

/usr/local/bin/php
or
/usr/bin/php

So, use the returned result.
