Hi All

I have downloaded 1.1 rc1 and installed it on a installation of joomla.

the installation has the following error but is Success, but i do get the following error on teh page.

I am running on a 1and1 VPS and have checked the directory perm's as per this post:

Tailing the PHP error log i am seeing this error:

and when i upload a vid i get the same "could not create directory message" and this in teh stack trace.

ok so i guess i am working to fast to notice exactly what my stack trace was saying.


I have now double checked and changed teh perm's recursive to the jMediaDirect directory. so now the upload works.

but i am not getting a preview image and also when i go to view the video i get no video and the following error on the page.

Ok so just to confirm. I am tryingto get the fetch link only" functionality working so i have yes selected in the configuration.

i upload a link to a youtube vid. in the lightbox for teh youtube video i get teh description, i see the preview image. and the add is sucessfull. but when i go to the video list in the admin screen. it says "Conversion Pending:1". What is is going to convert?

are you using the latest version rc1C or just RC1 ?
Conversion Pending should be on the stats ... we should just rename it ...
what is the "status" in the row of that video?

you need to go through directory-permission in this forum -> installation -> howtos
