I've received a complaint from customer that his video conversions aren't working anymore. After some investigation, I have discovered that your component is not compatibile with ffmpeg 0.5. The workaround is as simple as adding one option when encoding with x264 - read here for more information: forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=148750

Patching his convertIt.php helped, I'm attaching the patch in case you want to fix your product.

Which jvideodirect version are you using ?
If your are using version 2.7, they are updated.

I can't see any version information inside the component or in jvideodirect.php.
