Hello,
few hours ago I have downloaded the new com_jvideodirect.1.1.RC3a.zip file and as was suggested I have uninstalled older version (com_jvideodirect.1.1.RC3.zip) and installed this new. So, then I got in some kind of trouble:
1. Uninstalling component means uninstalling the links too. So, is you have more than only videos site you are loosing your structures as after the instalation you need to rename and remove the video links.
2. The main component link with "Recently Uploaded Videos" is not working any more. There is no nice table slide, the links opens in new blank window.
3. If you did the custom design (remade default.php) files you are in trouble. If you change it once again it still has new layout, so, all effort you did before to make jVideoDirect to look as you have designet is gone.
So, fortunately, I kept older version and installed it again. So, my suggestions is, please keep the structure of the default file as near as possible, as there will be a lot of waist of time when you will update the component and it will kill all you design.
