the client made the website php4 and not php5 SMH SMH SMH SMH

wasted my whole day lol

first of all, i need to know your site so that i have something to track with.

or download the latest version, some changes has been made for modules when RC2 release.
you don't need to uninstall your modules, just unzip the package and overwrite relevant files

if you move to another server, you need to go through "system check up" again.

typical localhost doesn't have restriction on directory permission.
