Pressing a channels quick view button results in a javascript popup that makes the whole template dissapear. Perhaps there needs to be some javascript on off options
or perhaps jQuery.noConflict(); needs to be added if (jquery is being used).

Also when a playist is created it does not show in the drop menu down when attempting to add a video to the play list, so nothing can be added to the play list.

jQuery.noConflict();
is already there.

Can you please check if you have other components, modules that uses jquery in that page ?

If you have, you need to replace all "$" to "jQuery" in that particular js file.
