There is no way to access the channels there is nothing to click on.

If you try click the channel graphic it is not even a link.
If you click "quick view" it brings the popup box and if you click a video it just takes you back to the main channels page again

1. if you click on the channel image, yes it is not linked. it's like this ... Why ?
user will only need to know what is in the channel and rather or not to subscribe it. subscribe button in the top right corner.
if user like to distribute the channel, a unique name has to be specified in userpanel -> edit channel under "my channel".

Once it is specified, a direct link will show in channel view. the direct link will lead to a page of that channel

and similiar to groups

2. when click on video in the lightbox, it should bring you to video playback ...
sounds like SEF issue, i think John in support center will assist you on this
