There is a bug if the user does not select a category when they are fetching a video and hits submit it says file uploaded successfully but then if you look in the backend there is no video.

It should force users to pick a category before the video can be submitted

you are right ... it will be fixed in the next rc2 release thanks for reporting it.

seems like that should just be an easy fix to the code. Is there a target launch date for rc2?

Still have this issue in RC2 only now it does upload the video to the server but it just assigns it to a random category

if no category is selected, it will choose the first available category to store it.

Oh, do you expect a prompt ?

Yea exactly when you upload from your computer and do not select a category a little grey box pops up and says "*This Field is Required" but when you use the Fetch method it does not.
