Webcam Recording would be great feature.

But I think fo that I would need extra Red5 Flash Server installed.

What do you think, it would be difficult to extend the component to this extra option?

I agree, webcam recording would be an interesting feature, but this would surely and fundamentally change the purpose of jvideo?

If you want to record live content, rather use YouTube Quick Capture (for fetch) or www.red5-recorder.com/ (uploading to your own webserver)

Then import the recorded content into jvideo....
