Video Conversion
jVideDirect uses BOTH Mencoder and FFmpeg
- configurable quality
- support large variety of format as input
- flv as SD output, mp4 as HQ/HD output
- support fallback. e.g. you choose Mencoder as preference. If conversion failed, ffmpeg is on
(if converters are not available, jVideoDirect also support "Fetch Link only" mode. Videos are embedded to the site. No upload or conversion take place. Best of video sites on shared hosting)

Security
jVideoDirect is written with security in mind. Don't want to mention the techy part here. The obvious one is the video name. We try not to show ID to site visitor and even View Source from browser cannot locate it's actual location.
